2017 Give to the Max Day

Support CEHD on Give to the Max Day 2017

Each year, the University of Minnesota community comes together in celebration of giving and generosity on Give to the Max Day. This year the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) Alumni Society Advanced Study Scholarship seeks to raise financial aid to help our exceptional graduate students further their education. Any amount you can contribute makes a difference.

From our URaiseMN site, here’s an example of how one student’s life and community was improved:

Your gift to the CEHD Alumni Society Advanced Study Scholarship will have a direct impact on graduate students like Angela, who is in the Master’s in Social Work program. Angela grew up in poverty in rural Minnesota, but was committed to furthering her education. As a single mother, she had to find ways to cover childcare and support her family as well as pay tuition. Financial aid made the difference as to whether or not she pursued a social work degree. Thanks in part to the Advanced Study Scholarship, Angela can compete her Master’s and strengthen her community as a social worker.

Please donate and help spread the word by following and retweeting Dean Quam and @UMN_CEHD on Twitter using #UMNGive. You can also head over to the CEHD Facebook to stay current. Your generosity will help a new generation of future leaders experience top-tier higher education.

The CEHD Alumni Society Board has committed to 100% participation for Give to the Max Day. Join us to make a difference in the lives of students seeking to further their education. All donations will be matched up to $2,000.
