Ryan Warren moved to Minnesota to work in the College of Education and Human Development shortly after the new college was formed in fall 2006. He first served as chief of staff and now is the chief of operations in the college. Building on his background in computing and education, he is also the founder and director of Educational Technology Innovations.
Ryan believes strongly in building partnerships within the college and the University, and over the years he has partnered with representatives from the Academic Health Center; College of Biological Sciences; College of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Sciences; College of Liberal Arts; College of Science and Engineering; Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs; and numerous central offices to advance the work of CEHD. He holds a B.A. in education and English from Butler University and an M.A. in computing and education from Teachers College, Columbia University. He began his career in higher education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to that appointment, he worked in a private educational technology company as well as taught high school English and math.
