Dr. Lynette M. Renner is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota School of Social Work. Her main research area is family violence, including child maltreatment and intimate partner violence (IPV). Lynette is currently working on several research projects that help to provide interventions for women and children experiencing different forms of family violence. Lynette holds an M.S.W. from the University of Kentucky and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her work has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals including Child Abuse & Neglect, Violence Against Women, and Journal of Family Violence, among others.
