As the founder and director of Learning Dreams, Jerry focuses on democratic learning communities, community building, philosophy and politics of community-based learning, ecologies of education and cultures of learning. He has taught Education in the Community and the Democratic Learning Community in the School of Social Work and serves as a Senior Fellow. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Humphrey Institute and a Ph.D. from CEHD.
