Dr. Kivnick’s areas of interest include promoting health development in childhood and later in life, vital involvement practice and long-term care practice for frail elders. Her work in “vital involvement practice” is a capacity-building approach to develop care plans for elders, and to doing program planning and individual counseling with clients throughout the life cycle.
