Debbie Golos

Debbie Golos believes in exploring alternative ways to literacy including incorporating visual language and visual learning strategies. Her research and publications focus on emergent literacy, particularly examining the effects of educational media in ASL on young children’s language and literacy development. Additional areas of research include examining the portrayal of deaf characters in literature and media.
