Angie Pohl

Angie’s research focuses on student engagement, self-regulated learning, bridging K-12 and postsecondary education, and preparing all students for postsecondary education. She provides training nationally and internationally on Check & Connect, serves as an investigator on several Check & Connect research projects and is one of the authors of the 2012 Check & Connect manual, “Implementing with Fidelity.” Angie also taught junior high and high school English for six years and served as a collaborative teacher.

Angie earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in School Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She’s currently pursuing her K-12 Administrative Licensure from the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy and Development.
